“Blurred Lines” singer, Robin Thicke, and actress wife, Paula Patton have announced that they are splitting up.
“We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” reads the statement to People Magazine.
As earlier reported by The Daily News, Thicke met Patton when he was 14 years old and then they ended up becoming high school sweethearts. They got married on June 11, 2005. Together, they had a three-year-old son named Julian Fuego Thicke.
Thicke and Patton were at the Grammy’s together despite some rumors of Thicke’s infidelity. Thicke has been in the spotlight due to some pictures of him expressing some unusual behavior for a married man. He has been spotted with numerous women all cozied up to him.
Thicke said in a statement, “We’re pretty sure we’ve loved each other for a few lives.”
