Woody Allen's son, Moses Farrow, defends him against sister Dylan's sexual abuse claims

Moses Farrow, Dylan Farrow’s brother, is coming to the defense of their dad Woody Allen when it comes to the continuation of her sexual abuse allegations.

Moses takes Allen’s stance that their mother, Mia Farrow, put these ideas in Dylan’s head as a way to get back at her ex for marrying her adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn.

“My mother drummed it into me to hate my father for tearing apart the family and sexually molesting my sister,” Moses told People. “And I hated him for years. I see now that this was a vengeful way to pay him back for falling in love with Soon-Yi.”

This echoes the statement Allen’s lawyer put out earlier this week, calling Mia a “vengeful lover.”

"It is tragic that after 20 years a story engineered by a vengeful lover resurfaces even though it was fully vetted and rejected by independent authorities. The one to blame for Dylan's distress is neither Dylan nor Woody Allen,” said Allen’s lawyer.

As a result of Moses’ public statement, Dylan has responded, telling People her brother’s comments are “such a betrayal to me and my whole family.”

She added, "My memories are the truth and they are mine and I will live with that for the rest of my life. My mother never coached me. She never planted false memories in my brain. My memories are mine. I remember them. She was distraught when I told her. When I came forward with my story she was hoping against hope that I had made it up. In one of the most heartbreaking conversations I have ever had, she sat me down and asked me if I was telling the truth. She said that Dad said he didn’t do anything. and I said, 'He's lying.' "

On Tuesday, Mia took to Twitter to support her daughter, now 36.
