Xbox to stream live Bonnaroo music festival

Music lovers every year, travel far and wide to attend one of the most popular music festivals—Bonnaroo. Manchester Tenn. is the home of the well-known festival that has public showers, endless food vendors and a plethora of musical acts.

Distance, funds, flat tires and other issues that may arise, to stop many people from attending. This time around, fans won’t have to necessarily miss out—just find your way to an Xbox.

The four day, Bonnaroo music and arts festival began in 2002, making this the 13th annual show. Anyone who has an Xbox One or Xbox 360 will be able to live stream his or her favorite musical acts, according to theverge.com

The company behind Bonnaroo, Superfly Presents, is joining Microsoft in order to bring the festival to gamer consoles. Fans will have the luxury of switching between all acts and stages, and will gain access to watch former performances, as stated by shacknews.com

It’s uncertain if the entire festival will be available for stream, so if you’re not looking to miss a second of musical talent, grab that ticket and make the journey to Tennessee.

Fans await Febraury 19—the day the full lineup will be announced. Teran Killam and Hannibal Buress will host the event, alongside performances by Ben Folds and The Flaming Lips. Xbox users will be able to stream this informative event through a unique, soon to come, Bonnaroo app.
