'American Horror Story' season 4 revealed

Attention all American Horror Story fans: the fourth season plot has been decided. Get ready to watch the freak shows come together on FX in October.

Writer Douglas Petrie confirmed that the fourth season would be called “American Horror Story: Freak Show.” The news hit the public on the twitter of co-creator, Ryan Murphy on Monday, as reported by CBS News.

Most details still haven’t been released but what we do know, is that the show will take place in 1950s Florida and that the talented Jessica Lange has been practicing speaking in a German accent. After the fourth season, the FX hit just may have to say goodbye to Lange.

According to, Entertainment Weekly, Jessica Lange will act as an ex-pat who is in control of managing one of the last known freak show acts. The freaks under Lange’s rule will include Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy, while Emma Roberts and Denis O’Hare are rumored to return.
