'Bachelor' star Sean Lowe to Juan Pablo Galavis: 'You owe it to the fans and network to open up'

The previous Bachelor star, Sean Lowe, who recently married the woman he chose on the finale Catherine Giudici, is giving advice to disgraced Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis.

Galavis has been garnering a lot of backlash from viewers for not opening up – mainly for not proposing to Nikki Ferrell and not saying “I love you.”

Lowe has taken to Twitter to give his take on it, offering some advice while he was at it.

He first wrote, “My take on last night: I commend JP on not proposing if he isn't ready. And he certainly shouldn't feel pressured to say ‘I love you.’”

He added, “Lastly, disrespecting the nicest guy in show business @chrisbharrison should be a crime. That's my take. Wish them nothing but happiness. However, as the bachelor you can't say I want to keep my feelings private. You owe it to the fans and network to open up. That's the job.”

Host Chris Harrison broke his silence on this past season in a blog post on Wednesday, clearing up that he did not “dislike” Galavis but he admitted he didn’t feel he was the right fit for the show from the start.

“From the beginning something just didn't seem right and something didn't fit. We can debate over what that is, but the truth is that is irrelevant

Galavis has been one of the most controversial Bachelor stars in recent history, getting backlash for an anti-gay comment earlier in the season and overall not opening up to the women or viewers.
