Blake Griffin injured

Bad luck struck the Los Angeles Clippers as their star player, Blake Griffin left Saturday’s game early due to back spasms. The Clippers are in first place in the Pacific Division and still managed to beat the Rockets 118-107 in Houston.

He left the game holding his back and complaining of spasms with 5:48 left in the first quarter. According to The Republic Griffin barely had contact with Rockets player, Donatas Motiejunas, when he fell to the ground. He remained there for several minutes before making it back up to his feet.

According to Sports Illustrated the Clippers do not know how long Griffin will be out at this point. He will most likely be considered questionable for Monday’s game in Minnesota against the Timberwolves.

Griffin is the only Clippers player besides DeAndre Jordan who has not missed a game yet this season. Griffin has put up strong numbers this season averaging 24.3 points and 9.8 rebounds a game.
