Clippers head coach sends Glen Davis to locker room after dispute

Head coach of the Clippers Doc Rivers sends player Glen Davis to the locker room after a clear verbal altercation between the two takes place.

According to the Bleacher Report, team security had to escort Davis from the game after he was called to the sidelines. LA Times reported Brad Turner went to Twitter during the disagreement.

Rivers reportedly made the determination that Davis was not in the right emotional state to play and that’s why he asked him to go to the locker room.
Rivers has already insisted that this is a one-time incident and not a reoccurring issue for Davis.

“Nothing went on with me,” Rivers said. “I thought Baby (Davis) was just too emotional, and for me, if you’re too emotional I always sen you back to the locker room and keep you back there until the next game.”

According to NBC Sports, Rivers added Davis to the Clippers team after working with him for four years in Boston. Rivers has already insisted that this is a one-time incident and not a reoccurring issue for Davis.
