Eminem has reached another sales milestone with his latest release, Marshall Mathers LP 2. The album has just sold over 2 million copies since it has been released. Every single one of the artist’s albums have now sold over 2 million copies.
Eminem started this trend when his first album, Marshall Mathers LP, sold over 10 million albums. The Eminem Show also sold over 10 million copies. The only other musical act to reach this accomplishment was the Backstreet Boys, Billboard reported.
This week, the rap artist also logs his 50th entry on the Hot 100 charts with “Headlights,” which features fun.’s Nate Ruess.
In total, the “Love the Way You Lie” rapper has sold over 44.91 million albums. He now becomes the second best-selling male artist of the soundScan era.
Eminem recently announced a three stop Monster tour with Rihanna. Pre-sale for the three shows began this week and had an overwhelming response, Entertainment Weekly reported.
