Further legal action for Robert Todd Harrell, the bassist from 3 Doors Down

Robert Todd Harrell, the bassist from 3 Doors Down, faced legal matters in a vehicular homicide case in April 2013. House arrest was ordered for the musician until he stands on trial.

According to the Associated Press, Assistant District Attorney General Rebecca Valiquette said in a hearing, "He's already killed somebody. The only thing that's going to keep the community safe is to put him in jail where he belongs."

The musician pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide charges, but two weeks ago his case was reexamined for claiming Harrell was driving under the influence. According to TMZ, Harrell was originally arrested in D'Iberville, Mississippi. In the meantime, house arrest was ordered for the musician as he waits for further legal action in the case.

3 Doors Down is an American rock band formed in 1996. Their albums include The Better Life, Away from the Sun, Seventeen Days, 3 Doors Down, and Time of My Life. The band is known for songs such as "When I'm Gone" and "Kryptonite." 3 Doors Down started the Better Life Foundation with the goal of giving children a better life.

Harrell was suspended indefinitely from being in the band as of last week.
