'General Hospital' weekly recap: Week of 3/24-3/28

At Wyndemere, Sam and Silas found Sonny by the bar. She asked about Alexis and Sonny claimed that he hadn't seen her. Then, Olivia strolled over and chatted with Sonny, but he was jumpy. Meanwhile, Silas and Sam wandered across the room to chat with Nikolas. Tracy ran into Lucas. They wondered why Obrecht sent him off to find Lulu. Across the room, Dante worried about Lulu to Britt.

Out on the parapet, Obrecht threatened to cut Brad's tongue out if he blabbed about Britt. Brad cowered and she threatened to throw him off the building, telling him about Katherine Bell’s death and said there was nothing she wouldn't do to protect her daughter. Brad then shriveled up, but she shoved him over the edge anyway. Luckily, he landed on some hay, which broke his fall. She pulled him out and told him that she wouldn't be so generous the next time. Then, Lucas caught them together. They told him that Brad just had a few too many drinks.

Julian headed out to the stables to meet with “Luke.” "I thought no one was supposed to know we were working together?" Julian asked. “Luke” reminded Julian that he worked for him and he didn't want him ruining his chance to destroy Sonny. Although Julian made excuses, “Luke” wasn't impressed by the lousy job he’d been doing. “Luke” then told Julian that he wanted controlling interest in ELQ, which was why he proposed to Tracy, in spite of the fact that it hampered his chance to chase women. “Luke” then announced that it was time to up the ante in their war against Sonny. He explained secretively. "That's a bold move," replied Julian. Then, Tracy interrupted. “Luke” claimed he was just out there for a cigar, but she still didn't know why he was talking to Julian. “Luke” said he was just putting him on notice to treat Lucas right. He then sent her out so he could “look for his lighter.” Once Tracy was gone, after repeating to Julian that he wanted results, they walked off. Spencer then came out of hiding.

Back in the main house, Alexis followed Ric into a side room and eavesdropped, only to be surprised to catch him chatting with Cameron. She tried to run, but he snagged her and she admitted that she thought he was with Julian. He was confused and wondered if she was trying to set him up. Then, they began bickering about Julian until Sonny wandered in. Then, Sonny and Ric picked up the bickering as Ric insisted that he wasn’t working to take him down and wanted to put the bad blood between them behind them, but Sonny didn't buy it. Then, Ric and Cameron left for dessert and Sonny and Alexis bickered. Once Alexis left, Tracy showed up and she and Sonny did some bickering of their own. She told him that he was just “a charismatic thug with dimples” and that his days were numbered. She then mentioned that she just saw Julian with “Luke.”

Meanwhile, Elizabeth ran upstairs with Britt's confession in her hand. She found Lulu and tried explaining what the note said. Lulu found what Elizabeth was saying hard to accept and wouldn't read the note, but Elizabeth kept on going. Lulu went into denial but finally read the confession. She shuddered when it got through to her and she realized that she wasn’t crazy… She was really Ben's mother. "I'm going to go get my son!" she declared. Downstairs, Nikolas and Britt had gathered their guests together for dinner. Once Nikolas made a toast, Lulu ran in and blurted at Britt, "Get your hands off of my son!" Dante and Nikolas tried to stop Lulu and Obrecht accused her of losing her mind. Nikolas blocked Lulu so Obrecht could leave with Ben. Alexis, Julian, Sam and Silas decided to leave, but Lucas decided to stick around with Brad. Lulu finally told Dante and Nikolas that she had proof that Britt used their embryos and that Brad was in on it.

In another room, Tracy told Sonny that she saw Julian with “Luke” in the stables. Julian and Luke entered just then and Sonny asked “Luke” why he would be with Julian. “Luke” said he ran into him when he went to grab a cigar and issued a warning to treat Lucas well. Then, Tracy appeared but Sonny asked to speak to “Luke” alone. He then told “Luke” that Julian had a backer and he thought it was Ric. Sonny then added that he didn’t think Julian’s vendetta was only about power and territory. “Luke” then suggested that Sonny take out Ric. Sonny thought that was a tad extreme but “Luke” replied that it’s kill or be killed. Sonny then said that he wouldn’t dole out death that easily and “Luke” told him that he hoped he was making the right decision.

In Ben’s room, Elizabeth told Ric that Lulu now knew the truth about her son. Ric then told her about Alexis and Sonny’s suspicions that he was mixed up with Julian, but he insisted he wasn’t. Ric then told her that he wanted to get closer to Sonny but he couldn’t blame him for not trusting him. He then suggested gathering up Cameron and leaving before Lulu Wyndemere into a crime scene. “Unless you want to stay?” Ric asked Elizabeth. He then said that he thought she saw this as her chance to get back with Nikolas. Then, Obrecht entered with Ben and told them that her grandson needed to sleep. Elizabeth scoffed, told her that they knew the truth and together they left.

Meanwhile, Lulu told everyone about Britt’s confession letter but then realized that she didn’t have it. Britt then pounced, screaming for Lulu to produce it. Elizabeth entered just then, with the letter in hand. Britt tearfully begged Nikolas not to read it, but he did. Then, Tracy entered and joined Lucas. Nikolas asked Britt for an answer and Elizabeth scoffed. Nikolas then turned on Elizabeth, calling her a hypocrite and how “St. Elizabeth” was looking down on these moral beasts when she had upended plenty of lives of her own. He then accused her of orchestrating a public scene and threw her out. Ric stepped in to take her home and Nikolas screamed even louder about her judgment being with Ric. Then, Lucas ushered Brad out as Nikolas threatened him too.

Outside, Lucas demanded that Brad tell him how much he had to do with it all.

Inside, Britt admitted the truth. Dante cried about the guilt he felt over having a baby without Lulu. Lulu and Dante then rejoiced in the fact they had a baby and left to get Ben. Nikolas had to hold Britt back from following them. Meanwhile, Obrecht promised Ben that she would correct the situation. When Dante and Lulu got to Ben’s room, both Obrecht and Ben were gone.

Julian and Alexis returned to her place and she confessed that she had an ulterior motive when she invited him to the party. He assumed she was using him to make Ric jealous, but she told him that wasn’t the case. She then asked him if Ric was calling the shots against Sonny. Julian told her to go to hell. She replied that she knew how he felt and that she took advantage of him. He replied that he hated lying to her when he came to town but once his identity was revealed he had only been honest with her. She then admitted that she had feelings for him and he told her to prove it and accused her of being afraid to take what she wanted. They then started going at it, but she pulled away. He wished her luck finding someone who gave her a run for her money and moved to leave. She then ran to him and they started ripping each other’s clothes off.

Sam and Silas returned to his place. He invited her in for a single malt, some Bossa nova on vinyl, and some gratuitous nudity. She heard a door open inside and they found his place has been ransacked. Silas called the cops while she pulled a gun out of her garter. Then, Nathan emerged, saying he was responding to a call from one of Silas' neighbors and that backup had just left. He asked Silas if any suspects come to mind and Sam had one… him (Nathan.) She then accused Nathan of being obsessed with the case, desperate for evidence, real or manufactured, against Silas, but Nathan insisted that he just wanted justice. Silas then told Nathan that he knew who ransacked his place.

At home, Elizabeth got Cameron to sleep and thanked Ric for seeing her through the evening. He told her that he knew Nikolas wouldn’t let what happened go anytime soon and suggested that she let him go and move on.
At Silas' place, he told Sam that Nathan didn't bust into his place; it was his mother-in-law, Madeleine. He then trash talked Madeline, which Nathan didn't like. Silas then pulled out the papers Madeline tried to make him sign. Nathan then asked if he could hold onto them.

Madeline dropped by The Metro Court bar and ordered Carly to serve her a drink. Carly told her the bar was closed but Madeline wouldn't accept that. Carly admired Madeleine’s zeal and served her anyway and she was surprised by the martini’s quality. They then chit chatted. Carly vaguely talked about her mistakes and then the Madeleine moaned about how some “entitled ass” had been making her life miserable and told Carly that it was her son-in-law. They then toasted to hurting anyone who hurt their kids. Carly then railed about AJ. Then, Nathan arrived and interrupted. He cornered Madeline and questioned her about Silas' accusations and the papers. "What are you hiding?" he asked. He soon guessed that she didn't just move his sister. "She's dead," Madeleine told Nathan.

At Wyndemere, Lucas dragged Brad into a room and ordered him to confess all that he knew about the Ben situation. Brad tried to lie but he fumbled at it then made excuses and insisted that he was about to come clean. He then pointed out that Obrecht tried to kill him, but that didn't make much difference to Lucas. "Goodbye Brad," he said, walking out.

Out in the hall, Nikolas lectured Britt for stealing his sister's baby. "It was an embryo!" she objected. She made excuses, but he insisted that she was to blame for all of this. Britt rehashed what happened and then cried about her feelings, but Nikolas waved his arms and wondered how she could live with herself. She replied that he was the only person who had ever understood her, but he could only think of the secrets she had kept. He then told her that he couldn't love or trust her anymore. "The engagement is off," he declared, ordering her to give his ring back. She made more excuses but he was still furious and ordered her out.

Upstairs, Lulu and Dante are upset to find Obrecht with Ben and told them they were delusional if they wanted to take Ben. Dante then showed her Britt’s confession letter and promised that she and her daughter would pay. She still refused to hand Ben over and whipped out a blade. Lulu then advised Dante to back off as Ben yawned and Obrecht strolled out sneering. Dante and Lulu then ran downstairs and caught Nikolas shoving Britt out the door. They told them that Obrecht took Ben.

At Elizabeth’s house, Ric suggested that she let go of Nikolas and get happy and reminded her of how badly Nikolas had treated her. "You should be with me," he suggested. She pointed out that he was in no position to criticize Nikolas. He then told her how much he still cared for her and they rehashed the early days of their romance and kissed. "Let me be with you," he pleaded. He tried to talk her into bed but that failed. Elizabeth then told Ric that she was sure that Nikolas would forgive her for tonight. “He always does," she said. Ric thought that was a fantasy, said he was refusing to give up on her and left.

Sam helped Silas clean up his apartment. Madeline arrived and looked Sam up and down. They bickered a bit and Madeline rated Sam as a 6 on a scale of 1-10. She then denied trashing Silas’ hovel and offered him a way to end everything by signing the papers. She then told them both that Nina got pneumonia and died three weeks ago and handed over Nina’s death certificate. Madeline then said that she would have told Silas before but she didn’t want his grubby hands on her money. Silas again said that he loved Nina and never wanted her money. He then demanded the papers and signed them. Madeline was pleased. She then told Sam to wake up, that Silas’ bother was a serial killer so murder runs in his blood. Sam wondered if Madeline had ever considered Ava as a suspect in Nina’s case. Silas then told Madeline to leave with her papers. Madeline threw some choice parting words to Sam as she left, "You’re not a 6," she said. "You’re barely a 3."

Later, Silas recalled how he first met Nina. He remembered her being so alive and beautiful and that he didn’t treat her right.

At The Metro Court, Carly joined Sonny at a table to discuss AJ. She thought he could still wake up and wondered what Sonny would say if he did. Sonny reminded her that he had an airtight alibi and had nothing else to say on the subject. Then, Olivia rushed in and told them Ben had been kidnapped and was really Lulu’s baby. Sonny stepped aside to make a call while Carly and Olivia talked about how horrible this must be for Lulu. Then, Olivia and Sonny left to help in the search for Ben.

At Wyndemere, Dante assured Lulu that Anna was working hard to get Ben back. Dante, Nikolas and Lulu all begged Britt to help, but she swore she had no idea where Obrecht could have taken Ben. Dante couldn’t arrest Britt for kidnapping so he arrested her for stealing the embryos. She pleaded for Nikolas to help her, but he told her she was on her own. Later, Nikolas told Lulu that he didn’t think that Obrecht would hurt Ben and was confident they would find him soon. Lulu worried that he would slip through their fingers like their baby Connie did. "Maybe a baby isn’t meant to be," she said and blamed herself for having an abortion. Nikolas, in turn, blamed himself for believing Britt. He said that he was in love with her and even pushed Lulu to accept her, but he didn’t love her anymore. Then, Sonny and Olivia rushed in and told them they were working on getting leads of their own. Olivia refused to let Dante and Lulu lose Ben.

At the PCPD, Anna was upset with Nathan for being unavailable when Ben was kidnapped. He told her his phone was off after he got some bad news… Nina was dead and Silas got what he wanted. Nathan then lost his cool and Anna was convinced he had a deeper relationship with Nina than he was letting on and demanded to know what it was. Then, Britt was brought in and claimed she was clueless to where Obrecht was. In the interrogation room, Dante handed Britt a phone and told her to setup a meeting with her mother. Britt then left a desperate message for Obrecht and promises Dante that she wanted Ben safe too because she loved him like he was hers and that would never change. Britt was shocked when Obrecht called back.

Meanwhile, Nathan looked at the picture of himself as a boy with Nina. He then took a call from Madeline, who apologized for hurting him. Later, he got the information he had been waiting for about Silas and was surprised by what he saw.

Outside AJ’s hospital room, Ava considered finishing AJ off, but she was interrupted by Kiki. She acted like she was there to see Kiki, who filled her that in AJ’s coma may be permanent and that Michael was devastated. Kiki then told Ava that Michael blamed himself for opting for surgery, but that the person who shot him was really the guilty party. Ava agreed, said she felt guilty because the crime was in her house and if only she hadn’t gone to New York things might have ended up differently. She then denied having anything to do with killing the pharmacist or Silas’ wife. Kiki believed her and didn’t think Ava is capable of murder. Carly caught them hugging and assumed AJ was dead until Kiki reassured her. Then, Ava and Carly started bickering and Carly got in the last word before Ava slinked off. Carly apologized to Kiki, who then left to check on Michael. Ava called Sonny and told him that she thought they might be in the clear.

Inside AJ’s hospital room, his fingers twitched. Carly told AJ that she thought Sonny shot him and then AJ woke up.

Sam checked on Nikolas at Wyndemere. He told her that Ben really was Lulu’s son and now Obrecht and Ben were gone. He added that he was confident he was starting something new with Britt, but he was wrong. He then told Sam that he was worried about how Spencer was going to react because he had grown to love Britt, but was most upset because he bought all Britt's lies from the beginning. He added how Elizabeth had told him several times not to trust Britt, but he never listened and instead of thanking Elizabeth for finding proof that Ben was Lulu’s baby, he screamed at her and threw her out. Sam told Nikolas to go and apologize to Elizabeth. Sam then told Nikolas about Nina’s death and how she was working to prove Ava was the perpetrator.
Later, after Sam left, Nikolas thought about how he yelled at Elizabeth.

At home, Sonny was anxious for an update on AJ’s condition. Olivia was more upset about Dante and his kidnapped baby. She pointed out to Sonny that he had a tendency to focus on Michael. Sonny then raged at her, screaming that he would bring Dante’s baby back if he could, but he was powerless to help both Dante and Michael. He then calmed down and said that he knew Olivia was scared too, but he had to get to the hospital because Michael needed him.

At the PCPD, Dante instructed Britt about how to handle Obrecht on the phone. Britt answered when Obrecht called and asked about Ben. She told Britt that she had him somewhere safe. Britt then said that she wanted to meet them. Lulu arrived and Nathan told her that Dante was busy in the interrogation room. He left and Lulu burst into the interrogation room, screaming for information. Obrecht heard Lulu’s voice and hung up. Britt apologized to Lulu, who yelled at Britt for violating her and her husband and her oath as a doctor. Britt then told Lulu that she had lost everything…Ben, Nikolas and her freedom and that was the only reason she didn’t tell her. Lulu didn’t care and said that all Britt’s reasons were selfish and evil and she promised to make Britt pay.

Ava and Silas bumped into each other at GH. She told him that she was concerned about Kiki and accused him of taking a back seat in their daughter’s life. She then told him that Kiki knew she had nothing to do with Nina or the pharmacist’s death. Silas then told her that Nina was dead. Ava said she was very sorry for his loss and that she knew what Nina meant to him. She then thought it was time to put their cards on the table, which sounded good to Nathan, who just walked in. Nathan then told them that he was able to verify Silas’ alibi when Nakamura OD’d but still thought Silas was involved. Silas accused Nathan of being more obsessed with nailing him than finding out the truth and insinuated that Ava was at fault, insulted, Ava left to go check on Kiki. Silas then offered to buy Nathan a sandwich if he’d look into Ava’s alibi. Nathan replied that he was willing to consider other possibilities. Then, Sam showed up with an idea about how to bring Ava down.

Meanwhile, Kiki found Michael moping in the hallway. He thought AJ made him his medical proxy to show how much he meant to him, but he made the wrong choice. Michael wanted to know what AJ was doing at Ava’s anyway. Kiki told him that AJ was trying to get a job with Julian but Michael didn’t buy that. She wondered why her mom would lie and told him they were all on his side.

Later, Monica ran into Sonny in the halls and wouldn’t let him near AJ or Michael. She said that he had caused trouble for her family from the moment he came into town and Monica thought that maybe Sonny even shot AJ. She then threw Sonny out and he ran into Ava. He wanted to know why AJ was choking her and she told him to ask AJ if he ever woke up. She then added that neither of them are out of the woods until AJ was dead.

Meanwhile, AJ woke up in his room while Carly pondered if Sonny was the shooter. AJ remembered trying to tell Michael something. He told Carly that Sonny shot him because of Ava. She wanted to tell her more but he crashed again. Then, Michael and Monica entered and Monica screamed for a crash cart as they all urged him to pull through.

Obrecht pulled a gun on Elizabeth in her home, which she broke into with Ben earlier that day. She accused Elizabeth of telling the truth about Ben as a way to get back with Nikolas. Obrecht then called someone and told Elizabeth that she was sure that Britt would be free soon. Then, Nikolas knocked and Obrecht instructed Elizabeth to be quiet.
