'Girls' star Lena Dunham tells Jimmy Fallon, 'My mother always thought I’d marry you'

HBO’s Girls creator, writer, and actress Lena Dunham told Jimmy Fallon that her mother thought they would end up being a married

NY Daily News reports that Dunham was on
Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show and caught him off guard with her statement.

"I have a great boyfriend, but my mom said recently, 'I always thought you would marry Jimmy Fallon,'" said Dunham.

She is currently dating guitarist Jack Antonoff, 29.

Dunham, 27, continued to embarrass Fallon with her declaration of admiration for the host.

"She said it like we had a previous relationship, like you were my first boyfriend but things didn't work out and she thought we could get back together," said Dunham. "Not like I have 50 magazine covers of you in my bathroom."

People reports that Dunham was spotted at Troubadour in West Hollywood supporting her beau Antonoff.

A sourced revealed that Dunham was completely into the show and showed her support to her rock star boyfriend.

"She stood almost the entire time," said the source. "She bopped her head and occasionally pointed to the stage and whispered in her friends' ears with a big smile on her face as though she was so proud of her man. It was clear she was focused on him the entire night.”

Dunham posted a picture of them relaxing and lounging around. She captioned the picture with “Proud as heck of this guy, who brought down the house at The Troubadour tonight.”
