Kanye West joins Jay Z's Roc Nation

Kanye West has teamed up with Jay Z's company, Roc Nation.

The Associated Press reports that Jay Z's management company, Roc Nation, will now manage Kanye West.

West's production house, DONDA, will work alongside Roc Nation, both companies confirming on Monday, with Izvor Zlvkovic still managing West.

West started off producing albums for Jay Z, then the two collaborated on multiple albums and songs.

According to the Los Angeles Times, West created DONDA, named after his late mother Donda West, in 2009, and officially launched the company in 2011.

The DONDA production company designed two versions of West's Nike Air Yeezy sneakers, and is currently working on a line of Adidas to debut in Fall.

The company also designed the album packaging for 2 Chainz's Based on a T.R.U. Story, Lil Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being, and Pusha T's My Name Is My Name, and took a major role in promoting West's most recent album, Yeezus.

Jay Z's Roc Nation, founded in 2008 by Jay Z, currently manages Timbaland, Rihanna, Shakira, J. Cole, Santigold, and others.

Roc Nation also manages songwriters, engineers, and producers. It is a music publishing company, has a film and television division, and is involved with touring and merchandising. It is also a sports agency.
