Kanye West sentenced to probation in 2013 incident with paparazzi photographer Daniel Ramos

In the 2013 incident with photograph Daniel Ramos, Kanye West was sentenced to 2 years in prison, 250 hours of community service, and 30 days of anger management.

If West follows through with his probation, community service, anger management, and can keep out of trouble for years, his record will be expunged.

According to TMZ, Ramos stood and court an expressed his wish that West be sent to jail because of the emotional trauma that still haunts him and the fact that he is suspicious of West using the attack to promote his new album.

During the incident, Ramos told the court, "I simply asked him a question, and I didn't use any vulgar language. In fact, I gave him a compliment and told him that he was cool,” according to CNN.

Gloria Alfred served as the injured party’s lawyer, and filed a civil suit against the rapper and new dad, where he pleaded no contest.

Since the attack was caught on camera, West avoided jail by taking a deal from the prosecution.
