Mick Jagger breaks silence on L'Wren Scott death: 'I will never forget her'

Mick Jagger is breaking his silence about the death of his longtime girlfriend and fashion designer, L’Wren Scott. Scott was found hanging in her Manhattan apartment on Monday.

He posted a touching tribute to her on his Facebook page on Tuesday, thanking fans for paying tribute to her.

“I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way,” he first wrote. “We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me.”

Lastly, he wrote, “I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received.”

The Rolling Stones front man signed the post, “I will never forget her.”

As we previously reported, the band postponed their Australian tour after receiving news of Scott’s death.

Jagger and Scott had dated since 2001. She had canceled her London Fashion Week show in February.
