Naomi Campbell laughed at Kim Kardashian, Kanye West getting Vogue cover

Naomi Campbell is reacting to Kim Kardashian and her fiancé Kanye West appearing on the cover of Vogue for its April issue, reportedly after much persuasion from West – although editor-in-chief Anna Wintour did shoot that rumor down.

Campbell remained “politically correct” during an interview with Australia's The Morning Show co-hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies when she said "I do not want to comment” when asked about Kimye getting the cover.

"I'm a fashion model and I've been working for 28 years," she began, Us Magazine reports. "And when you get a Vogue cover, it's a build in your career…. a stepping stone to achieve that."

When Gillies pressed, "Kim and Kanye haven't earned the right to be on the cover of Vogue?" she replied, "Those are your words -- not mine. I'm being politically correct."

While people like Sarah Michelle Gellar have certainly voiced their opinions about the Vogue cover, West has been vocal about his thoughts on Kardashian getting the huge honor.

Back in October, West told Ryan Seacrest he thought his fiancé is more influential than the First Lady. "There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue. She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday,” he said at the time.
