Norwegian teen gets McDonald’s receipt tattooed on his arm

A Norwegian teen decided that he’d rather have a McDonald’s receipt tattooed on his arm than a Barbie doll head on his rear-end. Apparently, his friends weren’t happy that he was having luck with the ladies at the local McDonald’s.

Stian Ytterdahl told his story to Norway’s RB News and it has since gone viral. He explained that he and his friends were at a McDonald’s Monday, where he was chatting up the ladies. The 18-year-old said that this annoyed his friends so much that they gave him the tattoo ultimatum. So, rather than get a Barbie tattoo, he decided to permanently carry that day’s McDonald’s order on his arm.

“It's fun to think about that I have a tattoo no one else has ever seen before,” Ytterdahl, a tattoo artist, told the site. “Even the date and time is on my arm.”

According to UPI, Ytterdahl said that he’s also going to go back to the tattoo parlour to pick up the original receipt to keep as a souvenir.

““Now I'm a living billboard, but I think all this is just fun,” he told RB News. “Maybe it's not as fun when I'm 50 or 60 years old, but it's my choice.”

While this all sounds like a PR stunt, McDonald’s Norway’s communications director, Margaret Brusletto, said that they did not know about Ytterdahl’s tattoo.

“I can not say that I think anything other than that this is terrific. This is a loyal customer,” Brusletto said.
