Philadelphia 76ers add to losing streak

The Chicago Bulls beat the Philadelphia 76ers 91-81 in Chicago Saturday night. This brings the Sixers' losing streak to 24 games, closing in on an NBA record.

Poor shooting has been part of the problem for Philadelphia. However, Bulls center Joakim Noah had no shooting problems, as he scored 20 points and helped his team get the win. Another problem for Philly was that they’re missing Tony Wroten. According to the Associated Press, Wroten sprained his right ankle in Friday's game and did not travel with the team.

According to The Inquirer, it wasn’t all bad for Philadelphia, as Thaddeus Young had a game-high 28 points and 7 rebounds and Henry Sims had 18 points and 15 rebounds.

The NBA record for the longest single-season losing streak is 26 games, held by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers. But watch out, Cleveland; the 76ers are only two games away. We’ll see if they can snap the streak Monday night as they face the Spurs in San Antonio.
