Stunt man, Jun Kun, is missing after a flight from Malaysia Airlines disappears

A stunt man has gone missing after an airplane from Malaysia Airlines disappeared on Saturday.

The stunt man, Jun Kun, was scheduled to work on a pilot for the new series, Marco Polo, produced by Weinstein Co. and Netflix production. Jun Kun had previously appeared in the Academy Award nominated film, The Grandmaster.

According to the Associated Press, the production partners from his most recent film said, "We are deeply saddened by the news about Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. Ju Kun, who was on board, was an integral part of our production team and a tremendous talent. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time."

The flight disappeared four days ago, according to CBS. The flight left from Kuala Lumpur on Saturday and was scheduled to arrive in Beijing. An investigation is ongoing as to the cause of the disappearance.

The missing flight is troubling for many of the actor's previous associates. Zhang Ziyi described the stunt man as “sincere, kind, and hardworking.” His previous co-stars are wishing for a miracle.
