Three teens accused of carving a swastika into classmate's forehead

Three Portland teenagers are accused of carving a swastika into the forehead of 16-year-old David Douglas.

People reports the identities of the three accused teenagers as fifteen-year-olds Jenna Montgomery and Blue Kalmbach and seventeen-year-old Jess Taylor. The teens had assaulted Douglas with a crowbar, a BB gun, and a box cutter to crave a swastika into his forehead. The teens cornered Douglas because they wanted his money, iPad and skateboard.

FOX 12 Orgeon added that Douglas was shot in the chest, hand and groin.

Authorities say that Douglas was kidnapped and tortured by the three teens earlier this month during a snowstorm. When Douglas was able to escape he ran to an auto shop for some help. Julio Montoya and his coworker were in shock when they saw the state Douglas was in.

Montoya recounts what Douglas told him when he walked into the auto shop. "He said, 'Someone wants to kill me. Someone is following me. I need help. Call 9-1-1.' He was shaken and scared."

There was fourth teen involved in the gruesome attack. The fourteen-year-old isn’t facing the same charges as the other three teens.

Douglas’ mother made a statement regarding the vicious attack of her son.

“He's been severely traumatized not just physically, but emotionally,” said Kelli Murrain. “It's something he's gonna live with forever, especially if the scar of (a) swastika doesn't go away. Every time he looks in the mirror he's gonna have that memory."

The bail is set at 3 million dollars and the three teens are being charged as adults.
