For over 30 years, Ben & Jerry’s has brought the joy of ice cream to stores around the world. Featuring over 50 flavors in ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, Greek frozen yogurt, and “core” flavors, Ben & Jerry’s offers a mixture of dairy delight with frozen joy for its customers.

Ben & Jerry’s began in 1978 in Burlington, Vermont, with two guys: Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield. Together, they created their amazing business from a renovated gas station, and their business quickly grew as customers streamed in from across the U.S. and eventually the U.K. They’ve stated their mission in three parts: to make quality ice cream, sustain financial growth, and promote community activities.

Ben & Jerry’s has a variety of flavors, from triple chocolate chunks to fudge-covered waffle cones, it’s got something everyone will enjoy. 10. Salted Caramel: Core

With a rich, caramel flavor, this “Salted Caramel” has sweet cream ice cream with blonde brownies and a salted caramel core.

Each “core” flavor from Ben & Jerry’s features two ice cream halves split in the middle with a core flavor. Ben & Jerry’s other core flavors include “Hazed & Confused,” “Peanut Butter Fudge,” and “That’s My Jam.”

9. Cherry Garcia

Named in honor of Jerry Garcia, deceased rock guitar legend, this colorful flavor has the rich cherry ice cream with cherry chunks and fudge chips. A couple of “Grateful Dead” fans from Portland, Maine, suggested this flavor in 1987, according to Ben & Jerry’s history page.

“Late Night Snack” was featured on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in 2011. Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield appeared on stage with Jimmy Fallon and their delicious new flavor.

Last year, Ben & Jerry’s came out with “Scotchy Scotch Scotch,” a butterscotch ice cream with butterscotch swirls. Approved by Ron Burgundy, the hero of Anchorman, this ice cream will keep enthralling Anchorman fans.

2. Phish Food

So far, we’ve had raspberry, blueberry, brownie, cinnamon, coffee, potato chip, fudge, and butterscotch. But we haven’t had marshmallow yet. Phish Food comes into play with chocolate ice cream, swirls of marshmallow and caramel, and fish-shaped fudge chunks.

1. AmeriCone Dream

Best of all, we have the Americone Dream, featuring political satirist Stephen Colbert. Filled with delicious flavors, this perfect combination features vanilla ice cream with fudge-covered waffle cone chunks, topped with caramel swirls. This ice cream has the best of all worlds.
