Anthony Bourdain 'mortified with embarrassment' his 'The Taste' co-judge Nigella Lawson was denied entry to the U.S.

Nigella Lawson’s The Taste co-star, Anthony Bordain, has taken to Twitter to react to her ban into the United States on Sunday due to her admission in court about her past drug use.

Bordain is referring to Lawson getting denied being able to board a flight from Heathrow to Los Angeles.

Bordain started off writing, “I am absolutely mortified with embarrassment over the cruelty and hypocrisy of US actions re: #Nigella travel. Unbelievable.”

He continued on Twitter to compare Lawson’s actions to that of Toronto mayor Tom Ford, who’s been caught doing drugs on video while in office.

“Toronto mayor, Rob Ford? Welcome to the USA. Nigella Lawson? No. REALLY? Absolutely appalling misuse of our system. And by whom? How?” he wrote.

Lawson’s rep refused to comment on the incident, telling Daily News on Thursday, "We are not commenting on the story, but thanks for being in touch.”

A spokesperson for the U.S. embassy said in a statement that Lawson can enter the U.S. legally by applying for a traveling visa.
