Bryan Cranston writing 'Breaking Bad' memoir

Breaking Bad alum Bryan Cranston announced on Thursday that he is writing a memoir based around the hit AMC series.

The memoir will follow his past six years working on the meth cooking drama Breaking Bad, reports USA Today. "Walter White taught me a lot -- some of it useful, some of it dangerous," Cranston said in a statement.

He added that the memoir will "tell the stories of my life and reveal the secrets and lies that I lived with for six years shooting Breaking Bad."

According to Deadline, the book will be published towards the end of next year and will be released through publisher Scribner.

The 58-year-old actor won three Emmy awards for his starring role as White, while he won four as a producer of the AMC series.

Since the show ended, Cranston has moved on to Broadway, where he is currently playing Lyndon B. Johnson in the stage production of All The Way.
