Courtney Love doesn't like Yoko Ono comparisons

Courtney Love can't stand to be compared to Yoko Ono, says new interview.

Music fans across the globe remember Kurt Cobain as the 20-year anniversary of his death rolls near, and are prepping for Nirvana's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but Courtney Love has a problem with the fans that compare her to Yoko Ono. Ono is remembered as being the wedge between the members of The Beatles and is largely blamed for their breakup. Courtney Love, wife of the late Cobain, has drawn similar comparisons. “I don’t think the Yoko comparison is fair, I never sat in on rehearsals,” she protests in an interview with The Telegraph , referring to Yoko Ono's alleged artistic input on The Beatles' music. Her late husband, however, didn't buy into the Yoko-hate: “But Kurt thought Yoko was cool. He was an early adopter. He gave me a Yoko Ono box set when I was pregnant. Which I threw at his head. I wasn’t really a fan.”

Love has made quite a few headlines in the past few weeks, once when she announced her plans plans to work on a Kurt Cobain Broadway musical, as TheCelebrityCafe.com reported, and again when she hinted at a reunion between her and the members of her band, Hole.
