David Gray signs deal to release 'Mutineers' Album

David Gray has announced that he signed a global agreement with Kobalt Label Services to release his upcoming studio album Mutineers. The deal that was reached will allow IHT Records to release and promote the album.

This will mark the 10th studio album from Gray and his first in four years. The album will be released on June 17th, Billboard reported.

Following the announcement, Gray also released his new single "Gulls" which was released on YouTube and via iTunes.

This latest release from Gray was produced in London at The Church Studios and was produced by Andy Barlow. The British songwriter spoke about why he took a while working on this album and is excited to release new music for fans. “I know I’ve done something here that has an authority that is inspiring me and I don’t have to worry about my past or any of that. The lovely thing about this is we’ve had the time to experiment, and it’s been wonderful," said Gray.

Philly.com added that Gray will also be going on a spring tour to promote the album. Full tour dates have been announced on his website.
