Drake's 'Draft Day' shouts out Jennifer Lawrence, disses Chance the Rapper

Drake’s new track, “Draft Day,” features lyrics about Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, college football player Johnny Manziel and Chance the Rapper, and samples Lauryn Hill’s 1998 song “Doo Wop (That Thing).”

He said of Chance the Rapper, “And if I left this sh-- to chance, I would've picked a name like Chance the Rapper. No offense 'cause I don't know that n---a/I focus on making records and getting bigger."

Drake also rapped about Lawrence, who stars as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise, “On some Hunger Games s—/ I would die for my District/ Jennifer Lawrence, you can really get it,” EW reports.

The Young Money rapper actually started off the song with a shout-out to Manziel and Kansas basketball player Andrew Wiggins – who are both expected to be drafted to the NFL and NBA.

The “Started From the Bottom” rapper, 27, who is rumored to be officially dating Rihanna, surprised fans with the new song on Tuesday night.
