Joan Jett might perform at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Although some bands like Kiss are refusing to play at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it’s likely that a superstar like Joan Jett might take center stage.

Joan Jett, known for her 1981 hit, “I Love Rock n’ Roll,” could be making a showing at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 10th. The singer has been rehearsing with the team from Nirvana, including drummer Dave Grohl, and bassist Krist Novoselic. This isn’t the first collaboration between Jett and Grohl. Grohl co-wrote “Any Weather,” a track on Jett and the Blackhearts' 2013 album Unvarnished. Jett also took to the stage at Madison Square Garden to perform with the Foo Fighters on November 2011.

Nirvana is one of the many bands that will be inducted at the ceremony at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. R.E.M.’s Michael Stripe will induct Nirvana, according to Spin.

At the ceremony, Nirvana will be honored along with Linda Ronstadt, Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, Peter Gabriel, Hall & Oates, and Cat Stevens during a gala at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, according to Billboard.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony will air on HBO on May 31.
