Kristen Wiig talks drama in her new film, ‘Hateship Loveship’

Known for comedic roles, actress Kristen Wiig considers how audiences will embrace her new dramatic film, Hateship Loveship.

According to LA Times, she said at a recent interview at a Los Feliz café, “I'm so surprised that comes across as funny. I worried, are people gonna laugh at certain parts of this 'cause they're used to seeing me do things that are comedic? "

Wiig, 40, has made the rounds with Hateship Loveship at the Toronto International Film Festival. Hateship Loveship also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Nick Nolte, and Guy Peace.

Wiig appeared on Saturday Night Live, and she was a member of the comedy troupe, The Groundlings. She also appeared in Bridesmaids, earning Wiig a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical/ Comedy. Wiig won the Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Comedy Film. Her Sundance film, The Skeleton Twins with Bill Hader, will screen at Rooftop Festival this May at the New York skyline, according to The Wrap.
