Michigan college student plays epic prank on professor on April Fools' Day (Video)

An April Fools' Day prank that a student at Aquinas College in Michigan played on her professor has gone viral, which might make him change one of his strict classroom policies.

His policy is that anyone’s cell phone that rings during class time must be picked up by the recipient of the call on speaker phone. One of the students decided to play an epic prank on him on April 1, which made the professor declare “bonus points” for everyone.

"Hi, this is Kevin from the Pregnancy Resource Center," said the man on the other end of the line. "Per your request, I'm calling to inform you that the test results have come back positive. Congratulations!"

MLive notes the professor quickly becomes uncomfortable with the private call, telling the student "Okay, you might want to ummm ... shut that down."

He then extend an apology to her and looked visibly shaken up by what had just occurred.

According to Today.com, the student concludes the prank by revealing it was just an April Fool’s goof and said, "That's okay. I’ve been expecting this and I already know what I'm going to name the baby. Her first name will be April and her middle name will be Fools.”

The video was shown on NBC's Today Show on Monday morning.
