Ohio judge orders man to hold “I AM A BULLY” sign after harassing neighbors

A man in Ohio has been ordered to stand on the street corner and hold a sign saying he is a bully, after reportedly harassing his neighbor and her disabled children.

Edmond Aviv, 62, of South Euclid, was ordered to hold the sign for five hours on Sunday, after being found guilty of bullying his neighbor and her children who have developmental disabilities, according to The Associated Press.

The sign reads, “I AM A BULLY! I pick on children that are disabled, and I am intolerant of those that are different from myself. My actions do not reflect an appreciation for the diverse South Euclid community that I live in.”

According to Fox News, Aviv has not gotten along with his neighbor, Sandra Prugh, for the past 15 years. The feud started after Prugh adopted two African-American children with developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She also has a husband with dementia and a paralyzed son.

Prugh said that Aviv has spit on her multiple times, throws dog feces on her son’s car windshield, and once wiped feces on their wheelchair ramp.

According to court records, their recent case involved Aviv being bothered by the smell that came from the Prughs’ dryer vent when they did laundry. He hooked kerosene up to a fan, which blew the smell on the Prughs’ property.

In addition to holding the sign, Aviv was ordered to 15 days in jail and anger management classes/counseling.
