Police: Woman loses dream home, tries to have new owner raped

Authorities said a San Diego woman, who lost out on a Carmel Valley dream home, tried to have the new owner raped as “revenge.”

The New York Daily News reported that police said as part of her revenge plot, Kathy Rowe impersonated the new female householder in a sexually-explicit online advertisement.

Court Documents state that Rowe offered strange men to come to the home at any time during the week and "take me while I say no.”

NBC 7 noted that after a federal complaint was filed against her, prosecutors said the perverse prank crossed the line and she could spend time in prison.

Two men responded to the solicited rape ad and Rowe gave them the address to the woman’s home.

One man actually showed up at the new owner’s door.

Rowe didn't stop with the graphic ad. She also allegedly sent out sweetheart cards to several woman and claimed that they were from the new homeowner’s husband. She then put up an online post inviting people to attend a bogus bash at the new home.
