TV Ratings: NCAA Championship tops night, 'The Voice' remains steady

The NCAA Championship game between UConn and Kentucky easily topped all programming for the night, but didn't hurt The Voice on Monday.

For the night, CBS averaged a 4.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 14.61 million viewers. A Big Bang Theory repeat and pre-game coverage of the big game started things off by taking in a 2.1 in the demo, reports HitFix. The game itself averaged a 6.0 in the advertiser-important demo, though that is a dip from last year's game.

Despite competition for viewers, NBC still averaged a 2.8 in the demo and 9.7 million viewers. The Voice managed to remain steady with a 3.4 in the demo, while American Dream Builders used its lead-in to take in a 1.6 rating, which is its best to date.

ABC averaged a 1.8 in the demo and 12.1 million viewers in the 18-49 demo, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Though Voice held its own, Dancing With the Stars did not and fell to a 2.1 rating on the night. A Castle encore averaged a 1.3 in the demo.

Bones was up on the night for Fox with a 1.6 demo rating, while The Following slipped to a 1.4 rating. The network averaged a 1.5 in the demo and 5.5 million viewers.

The CW took in a 0.3 in the demo and 792,000 viewers off Star-Crossed, which was the only new episode for the network.
