Macklemore is recently got into some hot water over an outfit that he wore when he took the stage on Friday night. Some thought that the outfit evoked Jewish stereotypes.
Billboard reported that after the first night of "Spectacle: The Music Video" exhibition at the EMP Museum in Seattle, Macklemore took to the stage to perform to a packed crowd. The rapper/singer was wearing a fake wig and beard along with a prosthetic nose.
Macklemore took to his Twitter account to address the stereotype that was being placed on his performance.
A fake witches nose, wig, and beard = random costume. Not my idea of a stereotype of anybody.

The Huffington Post added that many celebrities commented about the controversy including Seth Rogen, who took to his own Twitter account to ask Macklemore if because he tricked America into thinking he was a rap star that he wanted them to think he was Jewish as well.
.@macklemore, first you trick people into thinking you're a rapper, now you trick them into thinking you're Jewish? pic.twitter.com/3rtaE4GHje
