Michael Jackson estate posts 'Love Never Felt So Good' from new 'Xscape' album (Audio)

The Michael Jackson estate has released the first single from Jackson’s next posthumous release, Xscape. “Love Never Felt So Good” has been released on YouTube in both solo and duet versions.

The duet version features Justin Timberlake singing with Jackson’s vocals. Each version has a different backing track, but they still retain the dance vibe, as if the tracks were made in the 1980s.

That was intended, as the estate said in a Facebook post. The solo track was “contemporized” by the estate’s co-executor, John McClain and they called the result “a magic combination of the new and the original production.”

“Love Never Felt So Good” has been sitting in the vaults since 1983 and was written by Jackson and singer Paul Anka.

Xscape was announced in March and was created using unreleased vocal tracks with contemporary backing tracks by producers Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and McClain. Epic CEO L.A. Reid oversaw production on the album. A deluxe version will include an extra CD with the raw recordings.

Xscape will be available on May 13.
