Miranda Lambert leads in Country Music Awards nominations

Miranda Lambert received the most nominations this year for the CMT Music Awards.

Nominees were announced on Monday morning across CMT’s digital platforms, according to CMT. The cast of Party Down South filmed short video vignettes to announce the nominees.

Lambert is up for two individual awards for her video, “Automatic.” She is nominated with her husband, Blake Shelton, for the song, “Boys Round Here.” She also collaborated with Keith Urban for the song, “We Were Us,” according to the Associated Press.

Other nominees this year include Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay, David Nail, and Dierks Bentley. Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line have five nominations each. Taylor Swift and Keith Urban each have four nominations.

The 2014 CMT Music Awards are now in their 13th year. Voting for the Country Music Television awards begins on Monday at CMT.com. It continues until June 1.

The awards show will be held in Nashville, TN on June 4. Tickets for the show will go on sale on Saturday, May 10 at 11AM. Presenters and host for the 2014 CMT Music Awards will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
