His single “Blurred Lines” featuring Pharrell and T.I. was destined to succeed. All three artists are great in their own right. Plus, the risqué video helped. Plus, his sensual voice will make anything sound good.

It takes true skill to remix music in a way that keeps the party going. Don’t believe me? Have you heard a terrible mix before? If so, that person did not know what they were doing.

Plus, Jay-Z verse gave it a little something extra. Along with this smooth jazz beat, he also touched on classic JT heart wrenching songs that played on radios and countdowns for weeks. This gentleman will definitely bring some awards home.

If you have seen Iron Man 3 or The Hunger Games Catching Fire, you have heard them before. The Alternative Rock band was founded in 2008. They are from Las Vegas, and 2013 was their year. Let’s be honest, films are nothing without music. Music helps move the story along. To be able to land a track on a summer and winter blockbuster is impressive.
