Despite some new offerings from the major networks on Monday night, few viewers actually tuned in, leaving shows like The Bachelorette and 24: Live Another Day to fall in the ratings.

Fox took the victory for Memorial Day with a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic, but suffered in overall viewership with only 4.94 million viewers, reports Hitfix. MasterChef premiered down, taking in a 1.4 rating in the demo, while 24 also struggled, falling to a 1.5 demo rating.

ABC had the best overall audience of the night with 5.28 million viewers, but came second in the advertiser-important demo with a 1.3 rating. The Bachelorette fell to a series low of a 1.4 rating in the demo after last week’s soft premiere. A Castle encore closed the night with a 0.9 demo rating.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC was third as the network only had one original on the night, American Ninja Warrior, which took in a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is a tumble from last week. The network averaged a 1.3 rating and a miserable 4.12 million viewers.

Airing nearly all repeats, CBS managed only a 1.0 rating in the demo and 4.99 million viewers. The only original of the night was an episode of the cancelled Friends With Better Lives, which slipped to a 1.4 rating.
