Wheel of Fortune contestant inspires those who watched

Those who watched Wednesday’s Wheel of Fortune were inspired by the Wheel’s first special needs contestant, Trent Girone.

Girone was so excited to be living out one of his dreams of being on the show. The 21 year old Arizona native suffers from Asperger’s and Tourette syndrome, according to Fox News.

Th first puzzle of the night was solved with ease by Trent and even though his luck ran out on the show Wednesday night he has been a huge inspiration to those who watched him. He has even become a hastag on Twitter, #TeamTrent. Those who were watching expressed a great deal of happiness to see Girone on the show.

According to Contactmusic.com Girone has watched the show since he was just two years old. In his blog post Girone wrote, “I love the show and wanted to be a part of its history.” He certainly made history and won’t be forgotten by Wheel of Fortune viewers for some time.

Girone thanked the show and his fellow contestants for having him on and making him comfortable, knowing about his physical limitations. He even wrote in his contestant profile on the show’s website that the Wheel taping was one of the best days of his life.
