'X-Men: Days of Future Past' dominates on social media

Variety reported that the film has over 11 million likes on Facebook and the trailer for Days of Future Past has 112,000 million views. The X-Men franchise has now passed popular films such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in Facebook likes.

Early predictions for Days of Future Past have the movie making around $120 million over this labor day weekend. A sequel to the movie is already in the works and fans got to see a short clip at the of Days of Future Past.

The X-Men film is also tracking above other popular comic book films in online review.

Business Insider reported that for fans who stay through the credits they are treated to what is now commonly referred to as an "end credit scene," which features insight into the X-Men sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse. Fans see for the first time what the legendary villain will look like on screen.
