Carrie Underwood takes home her third CMT Award

At the CMT Awards yesterday, Carrie Underwood won her 3rd straight award for Video of the Year.

Carrie Underwood won her third straight Video of the Year on Wednesday night, taking home an award for “See You Again.” It was a great night for the country music star. Underwood performed with country music legend, Miranda Lambert, according to MTV. They ended the show with a performance of “Something Bad.”

"It's really hard to believe," Underwood said on stage, according to the Associated Press. "I've been doing this for nine years but every single second of those nine years you guys have been amazing."

In terms of other wins for the years, Miranda Lambert won Female Video of the Year for “Automatic.” Blake Shelton won for male video of the year for “Doin’ What She Likes.” The Band Perry won group of the year for “Done” and Cassadee Pope took home breakthrough video for "Wasting All These Tears."

In terms of stellar performances, Keith Urban performed “Cop Car.” Luke Bryan collaborated and performed “This is How We Roll,” “Talk Dirty,” and ZZ Top’s “La Grange.”
