Don Henley slams Frank Ocean for using 'Hotel' music

Eagles frontman Don Henley is lashing out against Frank Ocean. In a recent interview, Henley expressed his outrage towards Frank Ocean and indie band Okkervil River for using master tracks without the permission of the Eagles.

In the interview with the The Daily Telegraph Henley explained that other musicians should not be using a master track of a recording without permission.

"Anyone who knows anything should know you cannot take a master track of a recording and write another song over the top of it," said Henley. "You just can't do that. You can call it a tribute or whatever you want to call it, but it's against the law. That's a problem with some of the younger generation, they don't understand the concept of intellectual property and copyright."

Billboard reported that the issue comes from Ocean using part of "Hotel California" in his single "American Wedding."

Ocean is known for his singles such as "Thinkin' Bout You" and "Super Rich Kids."
