"I'm working on some new music that I don't think anyone expects to be the type of music I'm working on," said Kesha.

Brad Paisley and Kesha are set to join Ludacris and Josh Groban as a panel of experts on June 22 when ABC launches its own reality singing competition, Rising Star.

Rising Star will be different from most reality singing shows. The decisions on which contestants advance will be almost entirely based on the audience from the start. It will be after that, when the "experts" will have a vote that is worth 7 percent of a performer's total. Every contestant will need at least 70 percent audience approval during their performance in order to continue on with the show, Billboard reported.

The "Crazy Kids" singer expressed that she is nervous for the contestants that are performing on the show. "I feel so bad for them, but I'm really excited. I think people would be surprised how different I would like the talent to be. I want country, I want polka – all of it!"
