Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders cut out of 'Snow White and the Huntsman' sequel

It seems Kristen Stewart’s affair with her then-married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, has changed the face of the franchise. The film is getting a sequel, but will move on without both Stewart and Sanders.

Stewart is not expected to star in the sequel and Walking Dead creator Frank Darabont will take over as director.

According to TheWrap, the deal isn’t inked yet but close to coming to fruition, as Darabon reportedly beat out Gavin O'Connor and Andy Muschietti for the job.

Chris Hemsworth, who thanks to Thor has become a major film star, will take over in the titular role. The film will focus on his Huntsman character rater than Snow White.

The Hollywood Reporter notes Charlize Theron will also return.

Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) made $396.6 million worldwide and cost $170 million to make.

Stewart was in a relationship with her Twilight Saga co-star, Robert Pattinson, at the time news broke about her affair with Sanders, however, the director was still married to model Liberty Ross.
