Kristen Wiig to direct new comedy with ‘Bridesmaids’ co-writer Annie Mumolo

Kristin Wiig will be working again with Bridesmaids co-writer, Annie Mumolo, for a new film that will be Wiig’s directorial debut.

Kristen Wiig previously got an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay for Bridesmaids, and shared her nomination with Mumolo, according to Nolo.

Mumolo recently wrote a movie about Joy Mangano, the woman who developed the Miracle Mop. The new film will be about best friends who find themselves “in over their heads and out of their depths,” according to < a href=http://www.deadline.com/2014/06/bridesmaids-team-kristen-wiig-and-annie-mumolo-set>Deadline.
