LeBron James’ future in question following Finals loss

LeBron James and the Miami Heat have lost the 2014 NBA finals to the San Antonio Spurs. After reaching the finals four straight seasons, James’ future is now in question. After his famous ‘Decision’ in July of 2010, no expected the basketball sensation to leave Cleveland and go to Miami. Now no one is sure he will stay. Since the final buzzer has gone off against the Spurs, James’ future is up in the air. When asked about his summer plans, he responded by sidestepping the question and talking about the finals his team just lost.

"I haven't really thought about that just yet. Not disappointed in any of my teammates, just wish we could have came through, played a better series, but obviously we just ran up against a better team this year," said James, reported by CBS Sports.

He was not having anyone try and sway his mind into giving an answer right away. James made it clear to everyone who was listening he will make his final decision when he is ready. He was well aware in his press conference during the postgame reporters were trying to get an answer.

"You guys are trying to find answers. I'm not going to give you one,” said James, according to ESPN.

The other members of the big three are not helping James’ cause. Running mate Dwayne Wade has shown a steady decline in his play and Chris Bosh is not the same player as he when acquired from Toronto. Team executive Pat Riley has plenty of work to do this summer.
