Sarah Jessica Parker finally returns to TV

Ten years after Sex and the City came to an end, Sarah Jessica Parker is finally coming back to being a regular on TV.
Parker is slated to star in the new series Busted:A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love, according to Deadline. She will be one of the show’s two lead roles.
The show is based on the "Tainted Justice" series of newspaper articles exploiting police corruption in Philadelphia. The articles were written by Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker, who went on to winning Pulitzer Prizes for investigative reporting, according to Philly.com.
Parker has made guest appearances on shows such as Glee as a cameo role but has not been a series regular since she was decked out as Carrie Bradshaw a decade ago. Parker has not appeared in a movie since New Years Eve back in 2013.Her new role will be a far cry from her shopaholic character from Sex and the City.
The show will be a limited series directed by David Frankel, who directed the film The Devil Wears Prada. Busted:A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love is yet to be attached to a specific network.
The series will be shopped once the rest of the cast is set.
