Shia LaBeouf makes court appearance after 'Cabaret' arrest, chased homeless man before show

Actor Shia LaBeouf appeared in court on Friday after his tumultuous Thursday, which ended with him getting arrested during a performance of Cabaret on Broadway. Now, it is being reported that the Fury actor argued with a homeless man before the arrest.

Apparently, LaBeouf’s adventurous day began with an argument over a hat with a homeless man. TMZ posted photos of LaBeouf chasing the man. A source told the site that LaBeouf thought the hat the man had was his. The witness described LaBeouf as “whacked out” and not making sense.

From there, LaBeouf went to Cabaret. He was arrested during the show, after security asked him to leave because he was being disruptive and even smoking in the theater. NYPD charged him with criminal trespassing and two counts of disorderly conduct.

On Friday morning, LaBeouf was in court, looking disheveled. According to E! News, he was released on his own recognizance. He will be back in court on July 24.

After leaving the courtroom, LaBeouf walked down the street in his unlaced boots and ripped shirt. He didn’t say anything to reporters who approached him.
