TV Ratings: 'Rookie Blue' premieres down in demo, 'Hell's Kitchen' up

ABC's Rookie Blue returned down in the advertiser-important demographic on Thursday night, while Hell's Kitchen was up over last week.

Fox topped the night with a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.78 million viewers. Hell's Kitchen improved to a 1.8 demo rating, while Gang-Related also saw a modest bump up to a 0.9 rating, HitFix reports.

CBS and NBC tied in the demo with a 1.1 rating, but the former had the strongest overall audience of the night with 5.19 million viewers. The Eye network aired only repeats, slightly embarrassing the other networks that aired new episodes.

Averaging 3.34 million viewers and the 1.1 in the 18-49 demo, NBC took third on the night. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Undateable held even on the night with a 0.9 rating, while Last Comic Standing ticked up to a 1.4 key demo rating.

ABC came in fourth with a weak 0.9 rating in the demo, but could boast the second strongest audience of the evening with an average of 5.13 million viewers. Rookie Blue returned down in the demo from last year, to a 1.0 rating, but had a solid overall audience of 5.7 million. Fledgling drama Black Box also was down, to a 0.7 rating.

The CW averaged a 0.3 rating and 1.04 million viewers off the back of the 4th annual Critics' Choice TV Awards.
