Dates announced for five upcoming Marvel films

Marvel Studios revealed on Friday future dates have been marked on the release calendar for five more films.

Now while the dates are known, what films are going in each slot or any slot was kept quiet, though they are still a few years away. The first two dates come in 2017, July 28 and Nov. 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The other three scheduled slots are spread out over the following two years with July 6 and Nov.2 dates falling in 2018 and a May 3 date landing in 2019.
Marvel loves to plan way, way ahead and so it is likely that the expected Doctor Strange film, a third Thor and Avengers films have spots amongst those five.

This week has been particularly news heavy from Marvel, with announcements made earlier in the week that a female Thor in THOR as Mjölnir has decided the previous Thor was no longer worthy of wielding the legendary weapon.

The comic book studio also took to The Colbert Report to unveil Sam Wilson taking over the role of Captain America for a new series, with a now decrepit Steve Rogers no longer able to be in the center of the fight.
