High-priced prostitute arrested in connection with Google executive’s deadly heroin overdose

Alix Catherine Tichleman, a 26-year-old from Folsom, California and admitted high-priced prostitute, was arrested last week in connection with the November death of a Google executive. Forrest Hayes, 51, was found dead of a heroin overdose on a docked yacht.

San Francisco CBS affiliate KPIX reports that Tichleman was booked on Friday after being arrested by detectives working undercover as clients. She was charged with suspicion of second-degree murder, destruction of evidence and illegal drug charges.

Deputy Chief Steven Clark told the station that Tichelman allegedly met Hayes online and met on a yacht at the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor. There, she injected him with heroin and fled the scene, leaving Hayes to die. His body was discovered on Nov. 23 and she was named a suspect a month later, once detectives discovered that he paid her for sex, along with texts and emails exchanged between the two.

According to the Santa Cruz Sentinel, after she injected Hayes on his boat, she didn’t help him at all. Instead, she picked up her belongings and took a sip of wine. Her actions were allegedly caught on the yacht’s surveillance camera.

“She showed no regard for him. She was just trying to cover her tracks,” Clark told the Sentinel.

Clark told KPIX that authorities are actually investigating another death that Tichelman may have a link to as well. Detectives tracked her activity during the investigation and got her back to Santa Cruz by offering $1,000 for sex on the July 4th weekend. She showed up on time and was arrested.

Hayes is originally from Michigan and also worked for Apple and Sun Microsystems. He and his wife of 17 years had five children.
