Developers of 'Grand Theft Auto V' ask judge to drop Lindsay Lohan's lawsuit, claim she filed for publicity

The makers of the Grand Theft Auto video game, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and Rockstar Game, are calling Lindsay Lohan’s bluff, accusing her of suing them for attention.

Lohan filed paperwork to sue the developers of Grand Theft Auto V for creating a character she claims is based off of her.

The company has responded in paperwork filed in Manhattan court, which became public on Tuesday, stating The Canyons star "filed for publicity purposes,” The AP reports.

They’re also asking the judge to dismiss the lawsuit and that Lohan pay their legal fees. They maintain the character in question, Lacey Jonas, is not based on Lohan and the only similarities they have is that they’re both young women and have blonde hair.

Grand Theft Auto V was released in September 2013, with sales topping $1 billion three days after hitting store shelves.

She claims Jonas’ image is based on her own, from her clothing to her voice, as well as her address at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont hotel.
